Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 is a skateboarding simulator, which is the sixth game in the series and is based in part on the TV show Long Live Bam! The main gameplay focuses on street skateboarding and exploring a small open-world. Locations contain a huge number of jumps, rails and ramps so that the player has the opportunity to perform as many tricks and combos as possible.
At any time, you can pick up your skateboard and go into pedestrian mode. Gameplay involves the ability to draw graffiti, parkour, and riffing. These elements are presented in arcade mode, so simplified to the push of a button. Two game scenarios are present – History and Classic Mode. The first is a set of missions, united in a chain by a common plot. The second is a mode from previous games in the franchise, where each round lasts two minutes, where the player must complete 10 small missions.
Performing the maximum number of uninterrupted combinations without falling, the trick counter doubles the multiplier and brings huge amounts of points. The story will take you on a ride through cities such as Boston, Barcelona, Berlin, New Orleans and even take you to Australia. Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 is the best example of sport simulator and arcade driving mix, which has a portion of hilarious humor and incredibly powerful soundtrack by such cult performers as Lamb of God, Disturbed, Faith No More, 3 Inches of Blood and many others.
